Servus Community!

My name is Julia, I’m a doctoral student at Swiss Paraplegic Research and the University of Lucerne with a background in health communication and marketing. In addition to my academic work, I am also a Community moderator, responsible for managing the German and English content of the forum. So if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share, feel free to drop me a line.

I am passionate about digital technologies and strongly believe in their empowering role to foster collaboration and co-creation between citizens, healthcare professionals, and researchers. More recently, I have developed a particular interest in 3D printing technologies and open source code development. I am curious to see how all of these technologies – first and foremost the internet – will continue to change how we use and experience healthcare services in the future.

In my free time I enjoy doing sports, reading, writing, and traveling. Occasionally, I tweet about disability, politics, and healthcare research @amannju
