Airbus has developed a new seating concept that allows wheelchair users to use their own wheelchair during the flight. The wheelchair is secured to the floor of the aircraft cabin using safety belts. If the seat is not occupied, it converts into a normal seat. A seat for an accompanying person is also integrated.
