Pro Infirmis and the Swiss Book Centre (SBZ) are setting an example with the ‘Inclusion: Reading connects worlds’ campaign. A carefully selected list of 50 books and accompanying materials are putting the topic of ‘inclusion’ centre stage in Swiss bookshops.
The books portray people with disabilities in different roles - as authors, protagonists or well-known personalities. They are characterised by a respectful, cliché-free portrayal and promote a differentiated view of the lives of people with disabilities.
The campaign will run from now until the end of May 2026 and will be implemented independently by the bookshops according to local needs.
