The new inclusion study by Pro Infirmis shows that people with disabilities are still disadvantaged in many areas of life. Around four in five of those affected feel severely excluded in at least one area of life.
There are major challenges in the areas of politics, work and mobility:
- Three in four people with disabilities feel they are not well represented politically.
- Four in five consider their chances of finding a job in the open labour market to be poor.
- Two in five feel restricted when using public transport.
The study focuses on the self-assessment of people with disabilities across ten areas of life. The survey involved 2,207 people from different language regions and with various disabilities.
