Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam will be offering ten self-propelled wheelchairs next year. Travellers with reduced mobility can sit in the wheelchair after passport control, buckle up and enter their gate number. The wheelchair navigates itself to the gate and returns automatically after disembarking.
