Self-driving wheelchairs at Schiphol Airport

Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam will be offering ten self-propelled wheelchairs next year. Travellers with reduced mobility can sit in the wheelchair after passport control, buckle up and enter their gate number. The wheelchair navigates itself to the gate and returns automatically after disembarking.

The wheelchairs are equipped with safety sensors, a luggage rack and an emergency button. The service is free of charge and does not require advance booking. You can find the link to the article at news.schiphol.com.
