In collaboration with the Cerebral Foundation, TCS Camping offers accessible bungalows for vacationers at selected campsites. The bungalows meet the needs of people in wheelchairs and their families for a carefree vacation in the great outdoors.
The facilities are as follows:
- 1 double room with a care bed
- 1 room with bunk beds, whereby the lower bed is also a nursing care bed
- Wheelchair-kitchen with an electric stove, refrigerator, dishes and coffee maker
- Living area with dining table and accessible bathroom with shower and toilet
- Accessible, covered terrace with a table and chairs
The bungalows are currently available at the following locations: Bern Hinterkappelen, Bönigen (BE), Sempach (LU), Buochs (NW), Flaach (ZH) and Sion (VS). For the future, the Cerebral Foundation is planning to expand its services in the Bernese Oberland, western Switzerland and Ticino.
