In support of the upcoming Paralympics in Tokyo, the Japanese broadcaster NHK World has created a series of anime showcasing the charm of Paralympic Games! The series is co-produced by various Japanese artists including the renowned manga artists Yōichi Takahashi, best known for Captain Tsubasa: his manga series about football which sold over 80 million copies worldwide.

The complete Paralympic anime series featuring episodes of wheelchair tennis, rugby, basketball, badminton as well as para athletics and cycling can be viewed on the NHK World website with subtitles in six different languages including English and French.
Some episodes with English subtitles can also be found on NHK World-Japan and Paralympic Games YouTube channels.
