The European Spinal Cord Injury Federation ESCIF has launched a new platform, ESCIF Forum. It aims to facilitate knowledge transfer and information exchange among people interested in SCI. Planned are 3–4 free Zoom events per year presented by researchers, experienced peers, companies, or representatives from organisations or governments.
The upcoming second event will take place on Monday, 7th June, at 6 pm. Presenter is Urban Schwegler, Ph.D. and Group leader at Swiss Paraplegic Research. He will show his recent research, which compares the employment situation of people with SCI in 22 countries across the world. The results come from the first International Spinal Cord Injury (InSCI) Community Survey, which was built after the Swiss role model of the SwiSCI study.
